In all of the previous examples, “se” and “nos” represent
each other Los pájaros se besan The birds kiss each other.

Is this a reciprocal action?
NO!! In this case, only one person is performing the action upon the other. La muchacha besa a su novio. OR La muchacha le da un beso a su novio.

To form the reciprocal reflexive follow these steps:
Take the verb and strike out the “se” abrazarse decide which pronoun to use: se/nos write the pronoun in front of the verb conjugate the verb into any tense you would like: se abrazaban they used to hug each other nos abrazábamos we used to hug each other

Can you treat all verbs in a reciprocal fashion?
Most verbs can be treated reflexively, but there are EXEPTIONS!!! Charlar is one of these!
