UNIT OBJECTIVE(S): AFTER THE LESSONS, STUDENTS WILL BE ABLE TO… 1. ARTICULATE TWO TYPES OF CONFLICT (PERSONAL/GROUP) THROUGH CREATING VISUAL EXAMPLES OF BOTH TYPES FROM A VISUAL MEDIUM OF THEIR CHOICE. 2. RECOGNIZE THE INFLUENCE ARTMAKING CAN HAVE ON CONFLICT THROUGH EXPLAINING HOW THE STUDENT’S CHOSEN CONFLICT CHANGES AFTER CREATING THEIR EXAMPLES. 3. DESCRIBE THE EXTENSIVE VARIETY IN MEDIUM THAT CONFLICT CAN BE PORTRAYED BY ENCOURAGING UTILIZATION OF DIFFERENT MEDIUMS AND LEARNING ABOUT DIFFERENT MEDIUMS IN ARTWORK EXAMPLES.
