Diamante A diamante is a seven line poem, shaped like a diamond. Ex:
Day Bright Sunny Laughing, playing, doing Up in the east, down in the west Talking, resting, sleeping Quiet, dark Night

Directions You are going to create a cause and effect diamante poem. The first 3 ½ lines will be about the cause, and the last 3 ½ lines will be about the effect.

Format Cause Adjective, Adjective (about cause)
-ing word, ing word, -ing word (about cause) Four nouns (two about cause, two about effect) -ing word, -ing word, -ing word (about effect) Adjective, Adjective (about effect) Effect
