 Buoyancy is the upward force of a fluid on an object less dense than itself. That is, the overall density of the object must be less than the density of the fluid

 When the force of gravity on an object is greater than the force of buoyancy of the fluid, the object will sink/fall, or have a negative buoyancy.

 When the force of gravity on an object is less than the force of buoyancy of the fluid, the object will float/rise, or have a positive buoyancy.

 When the force of gravity on an object is equal to the force of buoyancy of the fluid, the object will float/hover, or have a neutral buoyancy.

 Explain in the space provided how a hot air balloon is able to fly?
