4. We are fortunate to have two COSEEs in the Southern California Bight region that can help provide the underpinnings of a strong Education component for SCCOOS: – CA COSEE: SIO, CA SeaGrant, MATE and LHS – COSEE West: UCLA, USC, USC SeaGrant, LA Unified School District

5. CA COSEE is planning to hire a part-time Education Coordinator who will: – Interface with Education Coordinators at other RAs – Provide oversight and coordination for programmatic elements – Oversee planning for an education “portal” on the SCCOOS website
