3 *Scuba divers* in the South Pacific Ocean
People might scuba dive in the South Pacific Ocean for many different reasons, but mainly to see the sights. There are many different animals and plants that live there. Scuba divers can research things or just plain enjoy the view of the tropical creatures in the ocean.

4 *Tropical Fish* in the south pacific ocean
These are some of the tropical fish that live in the South Pacific Ocean. As you can see they are very colorful and live by the coral reefs and sea weed. They also swim together, they have there own community under water.

5 *Clams* in the south pacific ocean
These are pictures of clams that live in the South Pacific Ocean. This particular type of clam is called a giant clam. They live in shallow coral reefs, and can weigh more than 440lb. and measure as much as 47in. across. There average lifespan is 100 years old or more. They are the largest kind of clams and are an important animal in the South Pacific Ocean.

6 *Octopuses* in the south pacific ocean
These are pictures of octopuses that live in the South Pacific Ocean. In the bottom left picture it shows an octopus eating a giant clam. They usually grab almost any animal in the ocean and drag it to the bottom on the seafloor to eat them. Most octopuses are big but some of the smallest ones are the most deadly ones.

7 *Turtles* in the south pacific ocean
One of the types of sea turtles that live in the South Pacific Ocean is called the leather back turtle. They swim farther, dive deeper and prefer colder waters, unlike any other marine turtle species. Here is a picture of a leather back turtle swimming in the South Pacific.

8 *Seahorses* in the south pacific ocean
This is a picture of a seahorse that lives in the South Pacific Ocean, there are about 40 different species of seahorses. This species lives in costal and tropical areas. A cool thing about seahorses is that they can change color to match surrounding plants. Many people like seahorses because they are cute and live close to the oceans shore line, which makes them easy to view.

9 *Dolphins* in the south pacific ocean
A specific dolphin that lives in the South Pacific Ocean is called a Bottlenose dolphin. The bottlenose dolphin live in tropical waters and are pretty friendly with people. They are an important part of the oceans animals because of there beauty and kindness.

10 *Starfish* in the south pacific ocean
This is a starfish that lives in the South Pacific Ocean. Starfish usually lay at the bottom of the water on the ocean floor. A cool fact about them is if one of there arms/legs gets bitten off, cut off or falls off, there arm/leg will grow back. This star fish likes tropical waters such as the South Pacific.

11 *Sharks* in the south pacific ocean
The types of sharks in these pictures are called great white sharks. Some may be found in the South Pacific Ocean. Sharks are dangerous animals, they can smell blood under water from miles away, and they pretty much eat anything they want. Some are know for even attacking people. If you are swimming in the South Pacific Ocean I would suggest you watch out!

12 *Whales* in the south pacific ocean
These pictures are pictures of blue whales. Blue whales live in the South Pacific Ocean. They can be as long as 98ft and weigh up to 200 short tons and they are know to be the largest animals to have ever existed. Blue whales are marine mammals and are an important part of the oceans.

13 *Exotic fish* in the south pacific ocean
These are some exotic fish in the South Pacific Ocean. On the top; left, the picture shows fish called clown fish. The other pictures just show marine fish. They are very colorful.

14 *Coral Reefs* in the south pacific ocean
Theses are some coral reefs in the South Pacific Ocean. They are very colorful and also homes to some fish. As you can see they are somewhat tropical.

15 *My Conclusion* My conclusion about the South Pacific Ocean is that I have learned a lot about it. It is a tropical part of the ocean and it has many animals in it. There are very colorful and beautiful parts of the South Pacific Ocean. I learned about what types of animals and what kind of species they are that live there. I seen pictures of the coral reefs there and found out that some fish make that there homes. I like the South Pacific Ocean and im glad I researched it.
