2. North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards  Standard I Teachers Demonstrate Leadership Teachers demonstrate high ethical standards including honesty, integrity, fair treatment, and respect for others. Teachers uphold the Code of Ethics and the Standards of Professional Conduct.
