Culture provides boundary-defining roles.

It serves as a “sense-making” and control mechanism that guides and shapes the attitudes and behaviors of the employees.

The culture is sustained by: selection of personnel – hiring practices. top management promoting a corporate culture aimed at providing a competitive edge. socialization of members members go through a metamorphosis (change) accepting the corporate culture.
