¿Cómo estás? Now that you have a bit more vocabulary you can give a better answer than just “good” or “bad” Ask your neighbor the question ¿Cómo estás? Answer using new adjectives from the adjectives section of your vocab. Be sure to match gender as need be!

Adjetivos con SER y ESTAR
Use adjectives with SER to describe… Characteristics that are intrinsic to a person/item (they make that person/item who/what they are). This could be physical or personality characteristics. Descriptions you would use to identify a person/item that are less temporary. Use adjectives with ESTAR to describe… Condition of a person or item (what is it like now – not something that always was or will be the case) Emotion that someone is feeling. This is more temporary because we are talking about the emotion rather than the personality of the person.

What are the physical/personality characteristics of the people? Write a paragraph using Estar to describe it (3-5 sentences) Where are the people? (location, relative to one another, etc.) What condition are the people/items in? What emotions are the people feeling.
