Leadership 1. An act or instance of leading; guidance; direction: They prospered under his leadership. 2. The leaders of a group: The union leadership agreed to arbitrate.

Creativity 1. The ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.

Creativity 2. Originality, progressiveness, or imagination: – the need for creativity in modern industry; creativity in the performing arts.

Creativity 3.the process by which one utilizes creative ability: – Extensive reading stimulated his creativity.

Invention According to U.S. Patent Law: A new, useful process, machine, improvement, etc., that did not exist previously and that is recognized as the product of some unique intuition or genius, as distinguished from ordinary mechanical skill or craftsmanship.

Innovation Adopting, altering or adjusting that which already exists Innovation means turning creativity into bottom line results

Innovation The economist Schumpeter (1934) defines innovation as a process of creative destruction, where the quest for profits pushes to innovate constantly, by breaking old rules to establish new ones.

Innovation This implies: – the introduction of new products – the successful commercialization of new combinations of materials and components – the introduction of new processes – the opening of new markets or, – the introduction of new organizational forms.
