Biotechnology Biotechnology refers to the use of living organisms or their products to modify human health and the human environment.

Biotechnology Examples of Biotechnology is cereal on the kitchen table, or vitamins sitting on the shelf.

Biotechnology Safety is a concern with labeling. Labeling of Biotech foods would require strict segregation of Biotech crops from non- biotech crops. Segregation would then be followed up by testing and certification systems. Cost is a key point here.

Biotechnology We benefit from biotechnology because we have more crops. And medications to help us live a better and longer life.

More Info On Biotechnology Bio supports the EFSA’s scientific opinion which concludes that milk and meat products from clones of livestock & their offspring are safe for human consumption, & no different from foods from livestock through conventional breeding.
