2 Turnabout Introduction for a contrast Essay
A Contrast Turnabout introduction has three parts: Part 1: Three or four sentences that explain the similarities between X and Y Part 2: One sentence that changes to differences (usually using a subordinator like although or even though) – Turnabout sentence Part 3: Contrast thesis: X+Y differ in terms of A + B.

China and Saudi Arabia are both large countries with long and interesting histories. They are both famous for their traditional cultures and customs. Some of their customs are similar such as the importance of family and respecting the older generation. Saudis and Chinese people also like to spend time with their families and want to teach their children about the history, traditions and values of their cultures. Although there are many similarities between the two cultures, there are also many differences. China a Saudi Arabia differ in terms of family size and marriage customs.
