12 Sustainable tourism, which falls under alternative tourism, encompasses more specific types of tourism like eco-tourism, wilderness tourism and adventure tourism Most important to remember is that all types of sustainable tourism are also referred to as ecotourism, which is one of the fastest growing types of tourism today.
