Also our school changes … Born like lower secondary school in 1943 and called “Scuola Media Governativa”, it was divided from “Liceo Ginnasio Gargallo”. It has the name of “scuola Media” in 1956 and it is dedicated to the poet Giuseppe Aurelio Costanzo, born in Melilli, Siracusa, on 6th February 1841. It is in the quarter of Ortigia, in via Nome di Gesù.

Our school today … In 2000 our school becomes “Istituto Comprensivo” and hosts students from the three orders of school: Nursery Primary Sec. of first grade. Our present hedmaster is Dott.ssa Roberta Guzzardi.
