Emergency Medical Calls 2007 McGrath Report The McGrath Report (p.45) points to the importance of recommended response time of 6 minutes or less to EMS calls. Current budget request: 1 temporary employee converted to fulltime position of firefighter/EMT 1 new proposed career firefighter/EMT position These positions could be placed into night and weekend coverage shifts to provide the 24 hour emergency response Paid-call Firefighter/EMTs and career staff cover as needed This would utilize the living quarters and decrease response times to calls-meeting the 6 minute response time Staffing the new living quarters?
