What is infectious disease
Any disease that is caused by an agent/pathogen (virus, bacteria, etc.) that can pass from one living thing to another. If it’s contagious, it can be passed directly from one person to another. Patho=disease, gen=producer Disease=any condition that interferes with proper functioning of the body & mind

Viral Infections TREATMENT: There is no treatment once you are infected with a virus. You can prevent however… Vaccines are available for “some” viruses Prevention is the key Small particles that consists of genetic material. Viruses can not reproduce on their own, but need a “host” cell.
