2 How to Feed a Reptile Know that most reptiles eat insects like crickets and mealworms. Add some sort of vitamin or calcium powder to the food so that the reptile will be able to get most of its nutrients. Also have fresh water at all times. Some reptiles like to have vegetables with their diet. If you have a larger reptile you will probably have to give it some small rodents like a mouse or two. Feed your reptile in the mourning so that they can warm up their bodies to the right temperature to help aid in digestion. Click the Picture

3 Reproduction All of the species of reptiles lay eggs. If turtles lay a nest of eggs every year. Although she lays eggs they will not hatch unless fertilized by a male turtle.

Place a wax worm in the palm of your hand and hold it inside of the lizards cage. They may not eat it right away for the first few days. 4. Once it has eaten the worms for a few days you can take it out of its cage for a few minutes and increase the time out of its cage by one minute a day.
