The Recruitment Management System (RMS) hosted by PeopleAdmin of Austin, Texas, provides online capability to simplify the job application and candidate screening process.
Using RMS, agencies can automate the collection, screening and distribution of employment applications while increasing control and oversight of the employment process.
Data is protected on many levels from restricted physical access to the system to secure and encrypted communication between the applicant and employment system and user and employment system.
The RMS employment system is accessed via the web. Thus any computer with Internet access can utilize the system, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Be able to assist applicants and other users at Commonwealth of Virginia sites
Know what help options are available and how to use them
The objectives for this training session are to familiarize participants with the RMS and gain an understanding of how to use the system to assist them in the hiring process. After completing the training class, participants should be comfortable logging in and using the system.

There are three modules, or sites, associated with the RMS.
The applicant site allows applicants to enter and update their employment application as well as search and apply for open positions. This module also provides immediate feedback to the applicant on the status of their application.
The non-HR site allows Departments to open a Requisition based upon any of the job templates loaded into the system. This module is also the place where Departments can view applicant information including the applicant’s job application and resume. The Departments may also screen applicants and modify an applicant’s status.
The Human Resources site allows HR staff to oversee and monitor the entire hiring process. HR staff may modify templates, approve Requisitions submitted by originators, view applicant data, modify an applicant’s status, and apply an applicant to a position.

From the applicant site, an applicant may complete a job application, apply for open positions, submit their resume and check the status of their application.
Applicants may also withdraw their application or edit their current application.
Applicants may access the site via the XYZ web site or go directly to jobs.zyx.edu 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All an applicants needs to access the site is a computer with a web browser (Netscape 4.7 or Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher) and Internet access.
