UW-Madison’s prior Diversity Plan ended in 2008 Previous plan focused on recruitment & retention, specifically for reasons related to race/ethnicity/gender. Definition of diversity has been expanded, re-considered, in the context of social, economic, political and historical perspectives (to name a few).
