C OMMUNICABLE D ISEASES Diseases that are spread from person to person by the passing of germs. Germs are microorganisms that can get into your body and cause infection. These diseases are contagious.

H OW C OMMUNICABLE DISEASES S PREAD Direct Contact – touching and kissing. Indirect Contact – sneezing and coughing. Animal & Insect Contact – bug and animal bites. Other Contact – contaminated food and water.
