Meet your coach driver, who will assist the group to awaiting chartered motorcoach for a panoramic tour of Dublin’s highlights including General Post Office, O’Connell Street, Phoenix Park (the largest public park in Europe), Merrion Square where you can see Oscar Wilde’s house, Grafton St. etc. Enjoy a tour of Trinity College, which is Ireland’s oldest university (founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592). The highlight of the tour will be a view of the Book of Kells, written around the year 800 AD and one of the oldest and most beautifully illuminated manuscripts in the world Also visit the National Museum of Ireland. The National Museum houses artefacts which date from 7,000 BC to the 20th century. The Kildare Street site is home to artefacts from Viking times displayed alongside Celtic masterpieces and it houses one of the largest collections of Bronze Age gold in the world Evening Welcome Dinner and overnight Day Two

3 Dublin is Ireland’s capital and its largest, most cosmopolitan city. It wasn’t before the Viking raids of the 9th century that Dublin was fully established. The ‘boom years’ came in the 18th century and the city expanded across the river forming a new Dublin of stately squares, streets and Georgian mansions. Today, with its elegant Georgian streets, gregarious inhabitants and over one thousand years of history, it’s little wonder Dublin is a city of writers

4 Breakfast at the hotel This morning travel north to the picturesque maritime village of Malahide for a visit to the castle, one of Ireland's oldest and most historic castles Continue to Howth (a fishing and yachting port, and popular suburban resort where there are fine views of the countryside) and Dublin Bay Lunch on own Return to Dublin for a possible performance as part of the American Celebration of Music in Ireland Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure Evening dinner and overnight Day Three Dublin / Malahide / Howth / Glendalough Breakfast at the hotel Morning travel to Avoca to visit the Hand Weavers. See the three different kinds of weaving, including the traditional fly shuttle handloom, still in use today Lunch on own Continue to Glendalough and the Wicklow Mountains. The steep wooded slopes of Glendalough the “valley of the two lakes” harbor one of Ireland’s most atmospheric monastic sites — established in the 6th century. 5 Breakfast at the hotel March in the world-famous St. Patrick’s Festival Parade For two hours you will participate in an awesome display of creative talent as the national St. Patrick’s Festival Parade snakes its way through the city center. International and Irish marching bands join performers, dancers and street theatre companies to present a wonderfully entertaining parade. The parade is a piece of moving theatre, complete with its own Creative Director. MCI has a dedicated “Air Department” that negotiates group contracts, with the goal to book the best fares for the best schedules, while trying to keep everyone on the same flight. With the air industry continually changing policies, air schedules, fleet sizes, and dealing with unpredictable weather, the services the MCI Air Department provides has proven invaluable.

7 Tour Managers & Guides An experienced, proven, full-time, multi-lingual Tour Manager will be with the group 24/7 (for those who have travelled before you know what a difference a quality Tour Manager can make to the outcome of your tour). MCI Tour Managers are the best. Excursions on your tour will be guided by licensed, professional guides. Guides are selected based upon experience, referral, knowledge, and ability to deal with people. Entrances to sites are included in the MCI proposal. At MCI, we feel it is necessary to include these entrances to ensure the cultural and historical aspects of the Tour.

8 Coach Transportation We understand that comfort and safety is important when you travel. We go out of our way to make sure that your private, deluxe coach will be of the highest quality to ensure that the bus is in excellent working condition. MCI contracts with the most reputable companies based on feedback we have received from tour groups on equipment and drivers.

9 Accommodations We use superior tourist-class (3 & 4 Star) hotels chosen for location, reputation, cleanliness, and service. Prices included in the proposal are based on double occupancy rooms with private facilities.

10 Two meals a day are included in the proposal. Breakfast at the hotels are typically buffet style – either “full American” or “deluxe continental”. 3-course dinners (pre-set menus) are included at either your hotel or restaurants. We use restaurants that are clean, safe, and have a great reputation for working with groups, and to keep your group well fed. MCI works closely with restaurant personnel to make accommodations for those travelers with dietary restrictions and/or requests. Meals
