Updated: Classification: D3 Michelin Tires for Embraer 170 /190 Family   Michelin nose and main tires are fully approved by Embraer on the 190 and 195 family of aircraft.   Tires are undergoing approval at Embraer for the 170 and 175 family; − −formal approval is expected to be received 2Q 2010.   The main tires employ NZG technology for: − −Superior LPT performance thus reducing operational costs. − −Lower tire weight leading to operational fuel savings. − −More robust design which provides increased FOD resistance.   Main tires are designed to be retreadable − −(From 2Q 2009 for ERJ190 - Kansas City)
