The Library uses ALEPH (Ex Libris) integrated management system in order to organize
acquisitions
cataloging

In order to organize the books on the shelves, the UoC Library has adopted
the Library of Congress Classification System
for medical books: the National Library of Medicine Classification System 12

13. Loans - Holds - Renewals
All members of the University may borrow the material of the Library
Borrowing is not transferable and requires the academic identity card
Holds are possible in case the material is currently not available
Renewals are possible when the material does not hold requests 13

14. Interlibrary Loan
When the Library does not have a book or document, conference proceeding etc:
it is possible to supply it from other Libraries, through national & international interlibrary loan networks
the cost of the service is covered by the User 14
