Summary of key issues Funding Water and Sanitation issues Transport issues CSP working with World Bank looking at rationalising the financing of public transport infrastructure Further engagement with NDoT where there is still challenges Some progress made Water use licences – progress made further work required to fast track Water River classification study – City being a WSA – needs to be acknowledged Gazetted figures not transferred (HSDG, Health grants) In other cases no gazettes City excepted to spend upfront and never get fully reimbursed Funding needing to respond to integration but City forced via sectoral pressures to focus on silo sectoral pressures priorities Budget is currently driven sectorally instead of spatially
