5 World Bank uses a five-year intervals to display the data on migration, publishes data on the total number of migrants (persons born in the territory of another State) and net migration. UN DESA provides information on: migration balance with use of five-year intervals, given in the long time series (since 1950); total number of international migrants (average for the year, broken down by gender), the proportion of migrants in the total population, as well as the rate of change of the total number of migrants per year. INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

6 IOM displays the total number of arrivals and departures of migrants on a certain date, as well as the direction of migration flows. UNECE (Migration Clearing House) in its database provides information on the annual basis on the following indicators: the population by the place and country of birth and citizenship; long-term migration by country of arrival/departure and citizenship.
