Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships-Doctoral (CGS D) and SSHRC Fellowships provide financial support to high calibre scholars who are engaged in a doctoral program in the social sciences or humanities. 8. OGS OGS awards are merit-based scholarships available to students in all disciplines of graduate study. These scholarships each have a maximum value of $15,000, or $5,000 per term for 3 consecutive terms A student may select either a May 1, September 1 or January 1 start date provided they are registered full- time in the degree program at the award start date. A student may accept the award for just two (2) terms, or $10,000. Awards must be held for at least two consecutive full terms The Application is divided into five components and can be completed at your own pace: December 6, 2013- electronic submission of statement of interest to be sent to Peter Ashmore at pashmore@uwo.ca January 10, 2014- complete application, including letters of reference. 11. CONSULT THE EXPERT SERIES The ‘Consult the Expert’ Series offers support to scholars who are writing research proposals for competition. There will be a total of 10 3-hour sessions. There is no registration required and scholars may attend any session that best fits their schedule. Consultations with a volunteer expert will be limited to 20 minutes each and will take place on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
