EgRC was registered with ministry of social affairs on 13 April, 2001. EgRC members represent healthcare professionals for all healthcare organizations in Egypt. The members are Physicians from different specialties, nurses and EMT’s. EgRC organize internationally recognized courses in the fields of resuscitation, trauma. Emergency and disaster medicine. 3. Mission & Vision Our Mission & Vision of Egyptian Resuscitation Council is to save human lives and improve the quality of survival; by improving the standard of knowledge, training and practice in the fields of resuscitation, trauma and disasters

4. Objective On this site you will find the latest guidelines on Resuscitation, as well as a full overview of the ERC educational tools such as manuals, posters and slides. Find information on our courses (basic life support and automated external defibrillation, advanced life support, pediatric life support). Register and interact with the resuscitation community through our objective 1.To disseminate and organize training courses in the field of Resuscitation, trauma, emergency and disaster medicine. 2.To promote public and government awareness of requirements and practices in the above fields. 3.To help healthcare organization to standardize and update Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Departments and Critical Care units 4.To promote & encourage appropriate research 5.To organize relevant scientific meetings in Egypt 6.To conduct a critical review of CPR, pediatric life support & trauma care practice & to advise on updating guidelines 7.To design teaching program suitable for all trainees ranging from the lay public to the qualified physician. 8.To promote audit of resuscitation practice

Membership 1.Honorary Membership · Granted by the board to imminent figures locally or internationally who have done special services to the council and whose efforts helped the progress and development of the council’s activities ·No fees 2. Active Membership · For physicians, nurses and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) who are working in the fields of emergency and critical care medicine, trauma and disaster medicine. · Acquired by completing the membership form and board approval · Membership fees: 50 EGP once then 30 EGP annual fees 3. Associate Membership · For physicians and nurses from other specialties and non- physicians who are interested in the council’s activities · No fees 4. International Membership · For physicians, nurses and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) who are working in the fields of emergency and critical care medicine, trauma and disaster medicine. · Acquired by completing the membership form and board approval · Membership fees: 50 USD once then USD EGP annual fees
