Site Server allows live monitoring of up to 16 video cameras and 16 sensor units, and provides event detection/notification capabilities. Events can either be motion detected by video cameras or by sensors. This program can be configured to automatically record detected events, trigger alarms, and/or send notifications .
You can have the same configuration options for all camera/sensor devices or specify different settings for each device.

Record Player allows you to play back previous recorded events. This program keeps a database of digitally recorded videos, and allows you to search for recorded events by specifying the date/time of occurrence or the type of event.

Remote Viewer allows live video surveillance and recording in a remote computer via a Web browser. Remote users that are granted sufficient rights will be able to monitor video cameras, control PTZ cameras, record events on digital video, and playback recorded events, and talk to the DVR Site Server.

Remote Record Player allows you to download a video recording from a remote computer to your local computer. Determine specific properties (e.g. date and time) of the video to download then after downloading, play back the video inside this same program.

Remote Central provides up to 16 split screens on the user interface for you to simultaneously monitor remote cameras from multiple DVR sites. Each DVR site will have a DVR server computer that is connected to surveillance cameras and other security devices. You need to first specify the URL addresses and the login details of the DVR servers that you would like to connect to.

With the complete integration of software and hardware, HitronDVR provides excellent image display quality. It displays true 640x480 resolution images and eliminates the 'ghost effect' in motion video. HM (MPEG4-like) compression is mainly designed for CCTV applications. It provides near loss-less video quality and saves a great deal of disk space.

HitronDVR automatically determines the recording frame rate based on the amount of movement. Lower frame rate is used for more static video, and higher frame rate for full motion video from a remote computer.

HitronDVR's motion detection feature reduces false alarms cause by from weather change, lightening changes, noise signal and prompt motion. HitronDVR provides four levels of ID and password protection, and keeps an audit log of 'log on and off' sessions, configuration changes and more. Its SmartFile management feature prevents disk fragmentation and increases system stability. Video recordings are saved in a database, optimizing storage utilization. What's more, HitronDVR has a hardware watchdog that restarts the system automatically in case of system errors.

CCTV devices can be integrated into HitronDVR. Through an RS485/RS232 converter, PTZ cameras or dome cameras can be remote controlled for panning, tilting, and zooming. Via an I/O card or an I/O box, HitronDVR receives signals from traditional sensor devices to issue events and trigger external devices such as lights, switchers, gates, and other traditional alarm devices.
