MyRoad: Introduction

Creating Student Accounts Beginning in December 2005, PSAT/NMSQT students may begin to register for their complimentary MyRoad accounts. The registration process will require students to have the following information: Name (as it appears on the Score Report) The 10-character code (upper-right corner of the Score Report) Email address Students will also be asked to specify their gender, provide a birth date, and high school graduation date. Finally, students will also be able to create their own unique usernames and passwords.

Me Two sets of assessments: QuickStarts & Personality Profiler QuickStarts Majors/QuickStarts Careers: short questionnaires (6-8 questions in length) designed to generate lists of suggested majors/careers ORA Personality Profiler® : two versions (“middle school”/”high school, college”); research-validated personality-type assessment, similar to Myers Briggs Type Indicator; 100-125 questions in length; also generates lists of suggested majors/careers

Explore Majors Page organized by major category, major, and then concentrations (“topics” within each major) Major descriptions are notable for overviews of academic requirements (Associates, Bachelors, Graduate degrees), information pertinent to preparing while in high school, unique Career Connection with links to the Research Careers section) and real, first-hand perspectives from students currently majoring in the field 67 majors / 175 instructional programs
