13 Entertainment- Much like the U.S, Puerto Rico has many different types of entertainment. The U.S and Puerto Rico both have beaches, resorts, and sporting events to go to. Gift Giving- Puerto Rico is very similar to the U.S where flowers and chocolates are a good thing to bring to a date, however Americans enjoy expensive gifts where as Puerto Ricans enjoy small, less expensive gifts. Respecting Others- Puerto rico and the U.S are almost identical when it comes to respecting other. Making hand gestures at someone is considered rude and direct eye contact is a sign of respect. Making Appointments- Puerto Rico and the U.S are exactly the same. You call a secretary and schedule an appointment. Vocabulary- In Puerto Rico, they speak spanish, but in the U.S we speak English.
