4 The Project Grant Agreement with Norwegian Financial Mechanism (financial donation) Norwegian experts The SMA is performer of the Project The financial resources are secured within the budget of SMA (obligation) Establishment of the Network of GPS Stations and European Spatial Reference System in Slovenia

5 The Objectives Overall Objectives: to establish a modern national geoinformation infrastructure for to support sustainable development Purpose: transition to the ESRS Results: establishment of the national infrastructure for determining position in ESRS with GPS providing conditions for determining position in ESRS with GPS in the entire state territory higher quality of spatial data (long-term)

6 The Activities and Schedule Three main segments: Functioning of the state network of permanent GPS station Implementation of horizontal component Implementation of the vertical component Schedule: 33 months 23 activities

7 The ETRS-points ETRS-points have coordinates in both systems (measured by SMA) 2000 ETRS-points at this moment Transformation parameters (different levels) SiTra software Transformation parameters ETRS-points

8 The Transformation Parameters Transformation parameters based on ETRS-points: 1. 1.State level (accuracy 1,0 m) 2. 2.Regional level A, 3 regions (0,5 m) 3. 3.Regional level B, 7 regions (0,3 m) 4. 4.Network level (0,1 m) Detail transformation parameters based on local points (not measured by SMA)
