Founding Fathers One of the founding fathers is John Adams, who was the second president of the United States. Also, one of the most famous of the founding fathers is Benjamin Franklin, who invented electricity. Third, Alexander Hamilton was the founder of the first American political party. Lastly, also very famous is George Washington the first president of the United States and the commander-in-chief of the Continent Army during the Revolutionary War.
