2 Demographics  52 respondents overall  100% of all respondents are female  5 respondents were aged 18 – 25  22 respondents were aged 25 – 35  18 respondents were aged 35 – 45  9 respondents were aged 45+  51/52 respondents enjoy reading books  45/52 respondents own an e-reader  40/52 requested a free book & to be put on the newsletter list  The majority had no preference of the book they’d like to receive  31/52 said they’d like to take part in future research

4  The previous slide shows the responses to the question “Which type of products would you be interested in purchasing?” As shown in the pie chart, the numbers are as follows:  33 people said they’d buy a bag  1 person said they’d buy a maternity shirt  27 people said they’d buy a keyring  24 people said they’d buy a card  11 people said they’d buy a print  6 people said they’d buy a poster  22 people said they’d buy a tshirt  10 people said they’d buy a badget  4 people chose to add their own option, these were: E-Book covers, Purses, Coasters & Fridge Magnets  2 people said they wouldn’t buy anything

17 Summary  Using the data results outlined in this presentation, this allows you to narrow down the choices. For examples, you can eliminate a few of the product types based on the market research responses. This will enable you to conduct further market research with the narrower choices to gather more in-depth and specific answers.  Furthermore, as a result of this research you’ve also gained 40 newsletter subscribers and have a potential demographic of 31 respondents who wish to take part in future research.
