A wide variety of foods Lunch is the main meal of the day People enjoy cool foods during the warmer temperatures On hot days they drink Sangria which is a mixture of ice, fruit, red wine and water Tapas – plates of cheese, sausage, olives, artichokes and snails in garlic Children enjoy Churros – sugared strips of fried dough Paella – a rice dish made with tomatoes, peppers, beans, seafood or chicken

Fallas de Valencia ( The Festival of Fire) – Kids get to play with fireworks the entire week and on the last day, huge puppets are stuffed with fireworks and set on fire Semana Santa ( Holy Week) – begins Palm Sunday and lasts till Easter Sunday, processions of large floats carrying life-sized figures of saints

7. Celebrations, Continued Running of the Bulls is one of the most famous traditions in Spain Feast of the Three Kings-the Three Kings come on Jan.5 and give kids presents the night before Jan.6. Tomatina ( Tomato fight) – participants throw thousands of tomatoes at each other until they are drenched in tomato juice
