The information contained herein is subject to change without notice. 2 Verify the quality and completeness of data An Oracle DBA may want to: Get insight into how many configuration standards exist for the servers that are used for Oracle deployment. Learn which servers are configured very differently from the others. Be able to specify the allowed configuration standards for machines that serve Oracle databases. Be alerted whenever there is a drift away from the configuration standard. Model all databases according to which business service they perform. Have the ability to see the impact of changes on my system and decide which changes to implement.
