The information contained herein is subject to change without notice. 2 Verify the quality and completeness of data An Oracle DBA may want to:  Get insight into how many configuration standards exist for the servers that are used for Oracle deployment.  Learn which servers are configured very differently from the others.  Be able to specify the allowed configuration standards for machines that serve Oracle databases.  Be alerted whenever there is a drift away from the configuration standard.  Model all databases according to which business service they perform.  Have the ability to see the impact of changes on my system and decide which changes to implement.
