2. About Breast Cancer  Breast cancer is a form of cancer that happens in the cells of the breast.  Breast cancer is most common in women then in men.  After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common form of cancer.

3. Facts  Breast cancer is very preventable as long as you can recognize the signs early enough.  Lumps and thickening of the breast are some of the signs.  Skin changes, like texture can indicate cancer.

4. Knowledge  There is not any clear cause for breast cancer.  The older a women gets the more likely breast cancer will occur- exercise can help prevent cancers.  Women after menopause are more susceptible to breast cancer.  Cancer can be carried through family genetics.

5.  Women who are over weight have higher risk of getting cancer.  Women who are taller than normal have a larger risk of cancer.

6.  Mammogram is a common use to test for breast cancer. Its an x-ray of the breast to check for lumps and abnormalities.  Breast ultrasound, breast biopsy and breast MRI are other tests for breast cancer.  Chemotherapy is a proses that helps make cancer dormant or kill completely.
