25. Why Is Being Educated Important? Men are able to source hands on jobs and work on a farm whilst women rely on a school education. Girls often leave school as their families cant afford to send them to school and they must go and find a job. Getting a job early means that they miss out on years of schooling. They are vunerable and not able to get a good job. They cannot argue, that they are not paid enough or they will be fired.

27. Our Group Interviewed Mrs. Warden Mrs. Warden told us about the time she applied for a part time job at Myer. They were so impressed when she told them that she was a Toorak Girl that they gave her the job.
