15 Lessons Learned Teaching as an adjunct changes the game. There is never enough time to get your message across. Get to the heart of the matter: keep it simple! Make friends with visiting foreign faculty and students. Focus on your role, and don’t feel you have to overstep it. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from colleagues.
