3 Conclusion and Final Cost
Our design is mainly focusing on building a self-sustained zero energy home with optimized function, value and visually appealing In this contemporary era, the world has been growing fast due to the advent of technology. However, the consumption of fossil fuel increases drastically in line with the growth of technology. At the same time, the huge impacts, especially greenhouse effect caused by the burning of fossil fuel raise the concern of the society nowadays. Hence, our zero energy home aims to get rid of the fossil fuel consumption and also reduce the environmental footprint Mission Statement External Research House of Quality Final House Design Conclusion and Final Cost [

4 Conclusion and Final Cost
Based on the solar map and geothermal map, Fayette County, PA becomes our choice of location for zero energy home and is designed by referring to different zero energy home benchmarking in US Solar map From solar map and geothermal map, Fayette County has considerable amount of resources for energy production.Hence, we plan to model a zero energy home and build it in Fayette, Pennsylvania. Moreover, our zero energy home is designed by referring to different benchmarking in US. With sufficient reliable research and guidance, the goal of building a zero energy home is realistic and achievable. 7 Conclusion and Final Cost
Our total estimated cost, including construction materials, electrical appliances, and solar panel, is based on reliable online resources Base House Cost = $ 152,630.00 PV Cost = $ 16,962 Total cost = $ 185,956.00 Researching and designing our zero energy home was a great learning experience that let us to explore the concepts and ideas of zero energy home in detail. This project helped us develop skills that professional engineers will need on a daily basis in future. By collaborating with each others, we have completed this project with a success. Upgrade Cost = $16,363.00 Mission Statement External Research House of Quality Final House Design Conclusion and Final Cost
