ALASKA ARIZONA CALIFORNIA COLORADO HAWAII IDAHO MONTANA NEVADA NEW MEXICO NORTH DAKOTA OREGON SOUTH DAKOTA UTAH WASHINGTON WYOMING Mental Health First Aid MHFA is a 12-hour training to give laypersons skills to help people developing a MH problem or experiencing a MH crisis. MHFA shown to have positive effects on trainees (higher knowledge, lower stigma, higher confidence in helping behaviors) No evidence to date on effects on community members (much harder to test)
