Life expectancy & Location relation Most countries in Africa, that are considered third world countries, have a lower life expectancy than the more advanced countries in Europe, America, etc. Life expectancy is lowered in these countries due to: 1. More disease (HIV/AIDS) 2. Not as advanced of medicine 3. Overall lower standard of living

What does this mean? Overall, this data means that women live longer than men all over the world. Some theories for this include: 1. Evolution-More men compete for female’s attention and take part in risky behavior 2. More men die in car accidents, homicides, and suicides. 3. Mainly men are considered more of “dare devils” Women’s life expectancy also is more varied than men’s. The range, standard deviation, and variance all show this.

Graphical Representation The line graph usually shows a change over time which doesn’t really apply to this data set. The bar graph would be a better representation of the data because you can compare the data from the different countries more easily due to a better visual dealing with the bars on the graph.
