Set up a course as you normally would... selecting Workshop as the course Type

Specifying Course Type as Workshop... Enables the Workshop button

S ETTING UP A W ORKSHOP Information on the Workshop screen is similar to the information on a course screen

D ESIGNING W ORKSHOP C ODES Design Workshop codes so Chronologically … they make sense…

Specific session in time period Time Period Day of Event Workshop Codes A A 01 AA01 would be a workshop in the first time period of the first day of the event. “01” indicates that it is the first workshop offered in that time period

Workshop Fees $$25 Specific session in time period Time Period Day of Event Workshop Codes A A 01 AA01$$25 would be a workshop in the first time period of the first day of the event. “01” indicates that it is the first workshop offered in that time period and “$$25” means it would carry a fee of $25.

Clicking the Workshops button opens a list of the workshops. Click the appropriate workshop to register the participant NOTE: There is NO “Idiot Proof” conflict checker from Student Manager (staff entry)

ACE WEB D ISPLAY O PTIONS B EGIN ON THE C OURSE S CREEN IN S TUDENT M ANAGER Minimum and Maximum are a little different for a workshop class. These fields indicate the number of workshops that a registrant must select in order to complete their registration
