Muscular Dystrophy is a disease in which the muscles become weak over time. People with md have missing information in there genes because muscular dystrophy is genetic, people are born with this problem. WHAT IS MD?

symptoms There are many types of muscular dystrophy. Myotonic Duchenne Becker But the most common ones are Duchenne and Becker. With myotonic muscular dystrophy, you get muscle spasms, stiffening of the hands and overall weakness. With Duchenne and Becker you experience clumsiness, frequent falling and a curvature of the spine. Also, a high level of creatine kinase. A child with md WHAT ARE SYMPTOMS OF MD?

Causes Since muscular dystrophy is genetic, the only real cause of it is “mutation” of the gene dystrophin, hence the name dystrophy. Treatments WHAT ARE CAUSES AND TREATMENT FOR MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY? There is no treatment or prevention from md. There is physical and speech therapy, and various orthopedic devices. Everyone who has muscular dystrophy has it differently, so no two treatments are exactly the same.
