World Regional CO 2 Emissions for 1900, 1950, and 2000 By Kerri Bessinger Purpose: Purpose: To show the world’s CO 2 emissions in order to see not only which regions of the world emit more CO 2, but to also show the increase of emissions in 100 years. Method Used: –Took all the countries and placed them into regions by creating a new column in arc view. –On the map adjacent boundaries of countries were dissolved in the same region so that it would only have boundaries between the different regions.
