TO SCORE A 3 OR 4, THE COMPOSITION MUST WHEN MY CHILD WRITES, HE/SHE MUST  have better written expression (word choice, transitions, organization, details, descriptive language, etc),  have better mastery of grammar and mechanics (spelling, punctuation, and capitalization), and  have a conclusion that expresses the value of the topic.  write in complete sentences,  capitalize the first letter of each sentence,  end each sentence with a period, and  spell consistently.
