Facts!! Scientists estimate that there are only about 2,000 pandas live in the wild and about 200 are in zoos and breeding stations. A cub is named 100 days after its birth in tradition. A female panda can produce one cubs once every 2yrs.

Where Pandas live? Pandas live in south-western china.

Poaching Pandas are poached for their skin, which is sold for a high price. Pandas are also poached for medicine, in china.

Why Pandas are endangered? Pandas are endangered because people keep on cutting down bamboo trees which are their habitat, and that’s also the only food they eat. Fact: More than half of pandas bamboo has been cut down since 1974.The bamboo is getting cut down because, people want to make farm land and not have bamboo everywhere.
