CELEBRATIONS AND TRADITIONS The names of holidays that Germany celebrates are Nikolaustag,ChristmasEve,ChristmasDay. Nikolaustag takes place on December 6 th. Christmas Eve takes December 24 th. Christmas Day takes place on December 25 th. On December 6 th children place their shoe out side and St. Nicholas puts toys in the boots. On Christmas Eve the people of Germany decorate their Christmas trees and then they eat a feast of food. On Christmas Day people of Germany unwrap presents.
