NSW Health requirements: Students undertaking study within NSW Health Department facilities will be required to undertake a NSW Health National Police Check, Prohibited Employment Check and fulfill the NSW Health infectious diseases requirements providing evidence on a Vaccination Card. Format of a NHMRC/APA scholarship application. Application form Required Documentation Apply Online Closing Dates Discipline’s Admission Interview Offer Student to complete the University’s online application form (link from our website Originals to be sighted & attached to online form – eg, academic transcripts, birth certificate/visa, CV, research proposal, evidence of contact with supervisor (eg mail). Submit application online Local students: 31 January for semester 1 intake 30 June for semester 2 intake International Students: 31 October for semester 1 intake 30 April for semester 2 intake. NB: Application closing dates for some scholarships may vary. Check at the University’s website Discipline’s Admission Interview Who: Student, Supervisor & PGC (or deputy PGC) Why: to evaluate the suitability /feasibility of the project & supervisory arrangements; to ensure resources are available. What: Student presents the research proposal (no PowerPoint); PGC provides information about requirements to complete the first year probation. When: Postgraduate Research Admin Officer organises a suitable date possibly before an offer is made by Student Services but before commencement in February/March. Where: Nepean Clinical School Student Services, Sydney Medical School, will email an offer of candidature to the student. Reply directly to the Sydney Medical School.
