2 Critical Thinking  What is it?

3 Definitions  "reasonable reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do“  “the intellectually disciplined process of actively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, synthesizing, and/or evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action”

6 Importance  Critical thinking is an important element of all professional fields and academic disciplines

8 Importance  it enables one to analyze, evaluate, explain, and restructure their thinking, thereby decreasing the risk of adopting, acting on, or thinking with, a false belief
