2.  Rohypnol, which is the brand name of this drug.  Street name’s are: Date rape drug, Roofies, La Roche, Roach, R2, Club drug and the “forget pill”

3.  Produced by Hoffman La Roche  It was used as a high sedative in hospitals for medical use in the 1970s.  In 1975 it was released in the market of Europe and sold in other nations in the 1980s.  It is not approved in the U.S  Schedule rating of this drug is Schedule IV

4.  It’s a powerful sedative that depresses the central nervous system.  Result can range from mild sedation to the death.  10 times stronger than valium.

5.  It’s dissolved in drinks  Swallowed as a pill  Snorted  Frequently used in combination with alcohol and drugs.

6.  A small white pill.  It has no taste or odor when dissolved in a drink.

7.  Reduced blood pressure  Dizziness  Confusion  Loss of consciousness  Sleepy  Blackouts  Nausea  The effects of this drug can last from 2-8 hours.

8.  Users may develop physical and psychological dependence on the drug.  Some people addicted may experience seizures.  Also they might experience muscle pain, extreme anxiety, hallucinations and headaches

9.  Decrease in blood pressure  Upsets Stomach and Intestinal tract  Urinary retention
